Ed Russel Sr.
Mobile Trailer Technician
I maintain my customers’ semi-trailer equipment and keep their fleets moving.
How I help my customers
It’s my job to ensure my customers’ semi-trailers are operational and roadworthy.
I will repair rips and tears on outer walls and side panels, fix torn bottom rails, inspect tires and brakes, fix air leaks and lights, and perform any repairs needed to make sure their trailer is safe.
We must keep our drivers safe and look out for the safety of others on the road. I wouldn’t want my own family out on the road with a trailer that is not safe. So, if I feel it’s a danger to others, it doesn’t need to be on the road. I know my customers appreciate this.
What I love most about what I do
I enjoy working on a repair and knowing, “I did that, I made that work.” And I like the challenge of figuring out what is wrong and how to make it right again. I enjoy doing what I do.
How I got into this role
My family loves anything outdoors. My wife, me, and our two girls are doing full-time RVing. We love it.
