Complete Cool
One of the 3000R’s key features is its advanced thermal technology to ensure product quality from start to finish. Utility’s foam-in-place approach provides 360° of insulation. This means no gaps and no leaks. No gaps and no leaks means a reduction in rejected loads, violations, and product damage. The Utility Barrier Door® completes the advanced thermal technology by creating a tight door seal. The design reduces weight and eliminates holes in the foam from hardware that can compromise the insulation.
The aluminum duct flooring is designed to allow cold air to flow evenly throughout the trailer. The floor can withstand heavy use and prevents bowing or warping. The aluminum is also corrosion-resistant, which reduces the potential amount of maintenance. The integrated heavy-duty 10” wear band reinforces the lower side walls of the trailer, while protecting the interior from daily wear and tear. The high-strength barrier shields against damage while also extending the life of the trailer.
When you couple the aluminum duct flooring with a Cargobull reefer unit and its staggered air chutes, you improve your airflow distribution. This allows you to distribute air flow equally at the front, middle, and rear of the trailer forcing the air down, around, and under the product – ensuring complete cool and improved protection for your load.
Greater Durability
To further enhance cargo protection and ride quality, Utility has preferred partnerships with Hendrickson® and Bendix®. The 3000R comes standard with the Hendrickson® ULTRAA-K 40K air ride slider suspension system. This suspension helps absorb road shock and minimizes vibrations during transit. This ensures that the condition of delicate products is being maintained. In addition, the ULTRAA-K system has a low maintenance design that contributes to better fuel efficiency and overall durability.
The Bendix® TABS-6 system combines roll stability and anti-lock braking through sensors that monitor conditions that can lead to trailer rollover.

Aluminum Duct Floor System
The standard 20K floor system is the foundation for the strength and durability the 3000R is known for. This 1-1/2″ extruded aluminum floor system is bolstered by an integrated 10″ minimum height wearband. This fully integrates the floor and walls. Not to mention the floor’s design is a cool contribution to air flow distribution.
High Impact Lining
Nothing impacts efficiency and performance like damage to the interior walls. Utility’s .065″ UCC R2 lining minimizes impact damage from forklifts, skids, and product while minimizing overall weight.
Air Ride Slider Suspension
Better ride quality leads to better load protection and reduction in long-term costs. Hendrickson® ULTRAA-K 40K air ride slider suspension system is standard in all 3000R’s.
