Here are a few things you should know about us: Our dealership started in 1978 with President/Owner - Stanley R. Zeamer. Our business philosophy being quoted as "Utility/Keystone Trailer Sales, Inc., promises to care about employees and customers, to do what we say we will do, to be profitable, and promote a warm, professional, fun work culture." Learn about our history: In 1978 Stan Zeamer left his college teaching and wrestling coaching positions to start Utility/Keystone Trailer Sales, Inc. In equal ownership with Bob and Nelson Behmer, one office and one service bay were rented. In 1980, six acres of land were purchased along Route 283 to build a new facility with four drive-through service bays and 1700 sq. ft. open parts display area. In 1987 Cliff Zeamer, Stan's brother, joined the company to manage the Used Trailer Department. December 1993 marked the second-generation commitment to the trailer industry when Stan Zeamer's oldest son, Bill, joined the sales team. In 1995, son Bryan joined U/KTS as a Manager Trainee after graduating from Elizabethtown College with a Business Management degree and All-American Wrestling honors. In March of 2000, U/KTS moved to its new location on 42 acres west of Lancaster along Route 283. This state-of-art facility houses 6,000 sq. ft. of parts display and warehouse space, as well as 17 service bays. With increased capabilities for stocking trailer inventory, the new dealership represents the commitment U/KTS has made to its customers. In 1994, U/KTS purchased Eastern Trailer Repair Service; a trailer sales and service facility located in Federalsburg, Maryland. Operating as Utility/Eastern Shore Trailers Sales, this facility moved to Bridgeville, Delaware in 1997. The new building was located on ten acres of land with a 5,000 sq. ft. open display self-service parts department and seven service bays. Effective in January 2004, Stan Zeamer and Ken Abbott have partnered to promote Utility/Eastern Shore Trailer Sales, Inc., as a separate dealership with the same quality workmanship and professional attention to detail. Utility Keystone Trailer Sales, Inc., offers a full line of Utility products: including truck body kits and refrigerated, dry freight, flatbed, and tautliner trailers. Our full service repair shop and parts department provide service on all makes of trailers. In addition, 20 acres of new and used trailers makes U/KTS a one-stop location for your entire trailer needs in the tri-state area.
